Katie
Katie is the captain of the Carry ons flyball team. She has been competing at flyball with various dogs since 2001 when she started with Poppy.
Katie founded the Carry ons flyball team in August 2004 with Charlotte. Katie organises the teams which includes team entries and training as well as updating the website and the forums. Outside of flyball she works for the NHS as a Medicine Management Technician and also has been known to spend evenings investigating supposibly haunted locations!
Katie currently runs four dogs within the Carry ons teams and has three retired dogs, the retired dogs are Merry, Poppy and Bayley and the currently competing dogs are Bonnie, Millie, Holly and Dave.
Charlotte
Charlotte helped found the Carry ons flyball team and also provides the team with a training venue. Charlotte is the teams resident poet and photographer and in between races can usually be found asleep in her car!
Charlotte started flyball in 2002 and currently runs one dog Jake.

Hi my name is Victoria and i have been a BFA member for a few years. In the week i am a highly sensible teacher responsible for hundreds of kids but by weekend i am a raving idiot trying to wrestle an insane gsd in the flyball competition. My gsd Daisy is perfectly trained to the highest possible level of obedience and will do anything i ask a) after having a pee b) after several minutes c) when i fuss another dog. I am not at all competitive and winning never matters to me nor do rosettes - it is the taking part that counts!!! (and the chocolate!!!)
Dave
Dave is Dianne's other half and has been attending flyball competitions for a couple of years. He is now learning to run the dogs and has so far sucessfully run Poppy and Duke in open competition.

Rachel
This is Rachel who is 33 and has been racing under BFA rules for 7 years. She currently runs one dog and will have another to run when Sonic is a little older! Rachel works for the NHS for a consultant surgeon. When she's not working she can be found bossing Matt about and trying to talk Jessica into becoming a tomboy. When she gets any spare time she enjoys having a minute's peace.
Matt

This is Matt, Matt is 32 and has been racing under BFA rules for 5 years. He currently runs 2 dogs Diesel and Jinx. Matt works for the NHS as a Nursing Assistant. When he's not at flyball matt acn usually be found hunting in the fridge for his next beer or in the garden having a ciggy. Matt's most famous uote is "I thought you said Storm was good at Flyball!"
Jess
Jessica is 4 and experienced her first flyball comp aged 3 weeks at Carlton Towers. Jess likes cheering the dogs on and helps Katie on the line and looking after the Dave's. In her spare time she enjoys cheerleading and practising to be a hairdresser.
Carrie
This is Carrie who has recently joined the team after initially attending our training day. She currently has one dog in training, Freddie.
Kate
This is Kate who has recently joined us from another flyball team. She has been competing in flyball for quite a few years and is an experienced flyballer.
Vicky
This is Vicky who has been training with the team for a few months now. She currently runs one dog Murphy.

I am fairly new to Flyball but became instantly hooked!
Luckily my 3 year old dog Spud (full name Red Hot Spud-U-Like) was a
natural, (obsessed with balls and likes to run fast) and alongside the
rest of the team, he has guided me through the last 8 months, not easy
for him!
He and I apparently share a couple of characteristics;
1. We both like to look around corners which are not there!
2. We twitch a lot on the start line, not too bad in the dog as his backside is not as large as mine.
I also share the house with a few other critters:
My other dog Dylan (who prefers agility to flyball), my four cats and six miniature call ducks.
My working life is spent as a Primary School teacher, however in my spare time when I am not with my dogs or in the garden, I dress up in outrageously colourful clothes, black my face and wave big sticks in the air with the 'Black dog Molly' dancers. (Oh, sometimes I wear a dog mask too!)
It takes all sorts!
